Acceptable Use Policy

In using the Directory of Consulting Structural Engineers ("the Directory"), members of the Institution of Structural Engineers agree to be bound by this Acceptable Use Policy, the Terms and Conditions, and the Privacy Policy.

It is essential that all the information in the Directory is correct and the Institution of Structural Engineers ("IStructE") relies on our members to provide this information. In consideration of your use of the Directory, you agree to:

1. Provide true, accurate, current and complete information about your business when completing the form.

2. Maintain and promptly update your registration data to keep it true, accurate, current and complete. If we have reasonable grounds to suspect that any information is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, we have the right to suspend or terminate your entry in the Directory.

3. You agree that you will not use the Directory to:

   3.1.1. post any content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, tortious, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, libellous, invasive of another's privacy, hateful, or racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable;

   3.1.2. impersonate any person or entity, falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity or disguise the origin of any content;

   3.1.3. post any content that infringes any intellectual property rights of any party;

   3.1.4. act in a manner contrary to IStructE's Rules of Conduct.
