At Float Structures, we are passionate about bringing creativity and collaboration to the world of structural engineering, delivering innovative and considered designs integrated effortlessly with an architectural vision. Founded in 2022 by two passionate structural engineers, Fred Miles and Conor O'Sullivan, their shared vision was to create a consultancy that embraced creativity, collaboration, and sustainability in structural engineering. Today, Float Structures is making a growing contribution to the built environment, delivering creative and innovative designs that leave a lasting impact. With a unique blend of experience ranging from multi-million pound hi-tec research facilities to bespoke private residential extensions, bound together by a common thread of multi-disciplinary design, we engage collaboratively on our clients' projects to provide a service that draws on the technical skills of large scale practice delivered with the care and attention of small scale practice. Our approach is proactive, adding value whether appointed to assist with early concept design and feasibility studies, or joining more developed projects as a contractor's trusted designer.
