Established in 1978, Abbott Holliday Partnership has over 40 years' experience in the consulting engineering profession, and provides structural advice and design to domestic, commercial and institutional clients throughout the South-East. The Practice provides reports on structural defects such as subsidence, leaning or cracked walls, balconies, concrete, sagging roofs or timbers, corroded steelwork, and rusty fire escapes, with a section that specialises in historic and listed buildings. Structural design drawings and calculations are prepared for domestic and commercial new build, extensions and alterations to retail properties, offices, government buildings, hospitals, schools, warehouses, factories etc.. Inspections and expert witness reports are provided for subsidence claims, personal injury and construction litigation. Professional membership includes the Association for Consultancy and Engineering, the Institution of Structural Engineers, the Institution of Civil Engineers, the Institution of Highways and Transportation and the Society of Construction Law. All the engineers are chartered and have many years' experience in the profession. The engineers that provide an expert witness service are experienced in writing CPR-compliant reports and giving evidence in Court.
