Who We Are AWA Consulting Engineers is a structural, civil and marine engineering practice established in 1987, operating from offices in Bath and Romsey. We work with a wide range of clients and collaborators across multiple sectors. We pride ourselves on a high-quality, professional service, combining innovative thinking with a pragmatic approach to problem solving. Our team includes chartered engineers, reflecting our commitment to technical excellence and continuous professional development. Projects are overseen by senior engineers to ensure consistently high standards, evidenced by our strong record of repeat clients and successful projects. What We Do We provide structural engineering services for new and existing buildings, including refurbishment, conversion, extension, defect investigation and change of use, often involving surveys, reports and technical studies. We have recognised expertise in marine engineering (such as piers, seawalls and moorings) and the conservation of historic and listed buildings, including places of worship. Additional specialist areas include industrial floor slabs, oak framing and glulam timber. Our civil engineering services include external works, drainage, SuDS and flood risk assessments, delivered through close coordination with our structural team.
