Barter Hill Partnership is a structural and civil engineering consultancy, established during 1990, to provide professional services for appraisal, design, detailing and contract administration in connection with construction of commercial and residential developments for Architects, Education Authorities, Developers, Local Authorities, Contractors (Design and Build), Building Surveyors, Insurance Companies and other organisations. We are regularly involved with projects comprising new development, refurbishment/conversion of buildings, alterations/extensions of buildings as well as investigation of distressed structures for constructions consisting of cinemas, educational buildings, hospitals, offices, flats, housing, roads, bridges and sewers. Designs are carried out by qualified personnel using computer-aided software and most drawing is undertaken using “AutoCad”. In particular, we are able to use the resources at both offices Norfolk & Essex, for any project, via our computer network system. The firm is a member of the Association of Consulting Engineers and is committed to continuing professional development (CPD). We are aware of our responsibility to Health & Safety, particularly in respect of the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations.
