Consulting Civil and Structural Engineers established in 1946. Conversant with most forms of construction from historic/ecclesiastical buildings to new-build industrial, commercial, retail, domestic, health care and recreational developments and temporary structures. The firm carries out survey/investigation work including subsidence and fire damage reports, etc on existing structures and has considerable experience in refubishment schemes and in organising concrete repair works. We are retained as consultants to The Racecourse Association and undertake safety checking of sportsgrounds/ arrange barrier testing, etc. Specialist design work for suppliers of architectural features, glazing, etc and Design Build work for Contractors forms an important part of the workload. The firm`s make- up presently comprises twelve staff making operation on a wide range of projects feasible. The principle region of activity is Gloucestershire and surrounding Counties but Cheltenham`s location makes operations throughout England and Wales practical and we currently work for regular clients with hotel, sports and commercial building portfolios spread throughout these countries. We have several Term contracts with Local Authorities for the checking of calculations under The Building Regulations.
