Introduction We are a small practice based in Altrincham/ Greater Manchester area. Due to the areas good transport links we undertake building projects and surveys throughout the North West of England. We are an approachable firm of Structural Engineers providing a professional and personal service to our clients. Structural surveys. We carry our structural surveys on domestic properties together with other buildings. If required we can provide advice on subsidence insurance claims. If you have a mortgage survey which has failed a valuation/ surveyors report we can prepare a Structural Engineers report detailing our findings and any necessary remedial works. Domestic projects We have experience in house extensions, loft conversions, general house alterations and new build houses. We are used to working to your Architects drawings. Building materials we have worked with. We work in all of the conventional building materials being masonry, timber, steelwork, reinforced concrete etc in order to design the walls, floors, beams, columns, foundations and the like. Non domestic buildings. We have experience in the design of numerous types of buildings being commercial, industrial, doctors/ dental surgeries, religious buildings, building refurbishment, warehouses, shops etc. We work to your Architects drawings (or your own drawings) to enable us to prepare the structural calculations and drawings.
