Dealing with projects from domestic level extensions, refurbishments and new builds up to £10m value commercial and public buildings. Much of our work is: - Design of refurbishment of flats, apartments and houses in London and surroundings. - Structural aspects of design of refurbishment retrofit of public buildings such as schools, offices and museums. - Reviewing Leaseholder’s License to Alter (LTA) proposals on behalf of Freeholders. - Advising clients, architects and surveyors with remedial projects and refurbishments. We are adept at: 1 – Design of structural elements in all building materials. 2 - Steelwork connection design (usually working with fabricator or main contractor). 3 – Basement Impact Assessments/ Construction Method Statements for planning applications. 4. Inspection of defective buildings, reports advising clients how to deal with defects and detailed specification of repairs/ remedial work. 5 – Temporary works design. 6 – Helping clients where design of alterations by others or building work has gone wrong. 7 – Detailing of reinforced concrete reinforcement (production of re-bar drawings and schedules). 8 - In house drafting capability
