Lucking & Clark was formed in 1987 by John Lucking and Michael Clark. All principals are chartered members of the Institution of Structural Engineers or Institution of Civil Engineers and the practice is a corporate member of the Association of Consulting Engineers. The firm has an extensive knowledge of refurbishment of existing buildings and design of new buildings and related structures. We undertake commissions on behalf of clients operating in all sectors of industry and commerce. Often we partner with contractors on design and build projects. This has given us the experience to be able produce a high level of construction detail and provide good value engineering advice. We aim to be proactive in our approach to projects and to provide clients with effective solutions to structural problems incorporating new ideas and architectural concepts. We employ the latest developments in design techniques, materials, and construction methods. Projects are managed at all stages by a principal member of the firm. Our services can be tailored to suit a clients particular requirements.
