James and Ian launched MAKE Structures in 2021 to work with private clients, architects and other designers, who share their passion for high-quality, sustainable buildings. We work in a friendly, open way to provide practical and elegant solutions on all types of buildings, from initial advice through to practical completion. With over 30 years' combined experience at one of the UK’s top structural engineering consultancies, our portfolio includes refurbishments, bespoke extensions, large-scale new builds and the sensitive repair of historic buildings. Based in London and Yorkshire we can work on projects throughout the UK. Our services include: - Structural Design Advice - Structural Surveys & Reports on existing buildings; - Structural Drawings: CAD drawings and detailed hand sketches; - Calculation packs: suitable for Building Control approval; - Support and advice during construction works, as required.
