Super Structures Associates is a niche structural engineering consultancy, where the founder, Derek Mason, has over 30 years’ experience in structural engineering, including multi-million pound projects in sports and leisure, mixed-use and hotels as well as residential developments. Derek has worked on many interesting projects including an engineering and technical review of the 2012 Olympic Stadium and some aspects of the 2012 Olympic Aquatic Centre as well as spectator stands for Premiership football clubs and various Racecourses and other challenging projects. Projects of all sizes are undertaken, with the service tailored to each individual project. We use the experience that we have gained with major projects to enhance the solutions that we derive for smaller projects where appropriate to enable the client to achieve their aspirations with their particular project. We create practical and economic solutions to the projects yet still provide the “Wow” factor that so many Clients are wanting to achieve.
